Snow white and endlessly captivating - the first flower of the year in Scotland is by far one of the prettiest and most mysterious. Nodding their heads in my little crop at the end of my garden, I collected the little snowdrops and took them inside to begin my lengthy preservation process to ensure the snowdrops remain perfectly white and pristine.
